” I bought this to use as a litter box for an older cat that was having some difficulty getting in and out of a regular litter box with high sides. The poor thing was peeing in a corner of my bathroom and trying to hide it from me. Once I replaced her litter pan with this, you could almost see her sigh in relief. It is easy for her to get in and out of. She does spread a little bit of litter when she “paws” , but solving her problem and giving her, her dignity back is well worth it. “Me and my friends have found that these litter pans work perfect for our injured or arthritic older bunnies. One of my rabbits has arthritis and stopped using conventional litter boxes.
